Read your allowance and balance. This does not consume generation quota and has a separate limit of 60 requests per minute.

limits.requests_per_second | Account rate ceiling, shared across all keys: trial 15, general 500 and enterprise 5,000 RPS by default; enterprise overrides can reach 10,000 RPS. Read this field for your effective ceiling. |

A verified positive paid purchase removes the trial rate cap, even while complimentary calls remain. Those calls are still spent first. Configured rate ceilings do not guarantee service capacity.
- Owners receive 100,000 calls per UTC week and cannot spend wallet funds after exhausting it. Custom accounts use their assigned allowance unless a paid subscription applies.
- Unused subscription calls expire at the paid week’s end. USD funds do not expire and have no weekly cap.
- No daily or monthly cap is enforced. Legacy admitted-attempt counters and prepaid_remaining are compatibility fields, not your USD balance.
